Today we went to town to finish up our Christmas shopping. M.G. and I bought an Egyptian footstool for our gift. The boys each bought M.G. some pre-electric shave. We were very tired after walking all over town. Tonight we went out to see how the Halls were getting along with their moving.
The family goes to town to finish up the Christmas list. Why Dad and Mom purchased a poof (other name for footstool) is beyond me. Mom did not list what we got for her. But it could have been any number of items that she had little use for but bragged on us when she opened them. This blog is all about lessons learned from Mom and that is yet another good one. Dad got into the game also when he acted surprised when he received the shave lotion that we bought with money he gave us. Remember to practice this skill during the Christmas season which is more about giving than receiving.
